SM Shaikat, has been chosen as one of the 2025 Goldin Global Fellows—a prestigious year-long leadership program that brings together 22 changemakers from around the world.
The Goldin Global Fellows program convenes a Community of Practice where participants collaborate, learn, and lead efforts to drive sustainable social change in their communities. Fellows are selected for their proven commitment to grassroots action and their potential to lead with compassion, creativity, and courage.
As part of this global cohort, Shaikat will engage with leaders working across a wide range of social justice issues. The fellowship focuses on building collective power through shared learning, rooted in the belief that local knowledge and community assets are key to creating real and lasting change.
Shaikat has been at the forefront of advancing youth leadership, civic engagement, and health rights in multiple capacities in Bangladesh and beyond. His participation in the Goldin Global Fellows program will not only highlight the work being done in Bangladesh but also strengthen ongoing mission through global connections and shared strategies.
